Starbucks is once again spreading festive cheer with its annual NHS Festive Giveaway! On Thursday, December 5th, 2024, NHS workers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are invited to enjoy a Starbucks free Tall drink of their choice in-store as a thank you for their tireless work throughout the year.
This one-day event is part of Starbucks’ ongoing partnership with NHS Charities Together, marking the fifth year of this thoughtful initiative. It’s a chance for NHS workers to take a well-deserved break and enjoy a moment of appreciation over a delicious cup of coffee.
What’s Included in This Year’s Giveaway?
This year, Starbucks is going the extra mile to make NHS staff feel valued:
- Free Tall Drink: Choose any hot or iced Tall-sized drink, including seasonal favorites like the Toffee Nut Latte or Gingerbread Cream Iced Chai Tea Latte.
- Festive Deliveries:
- 25,000 Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso™ cans and 42,000 Premium Instant sachets.
- Milk Chocolate Gold Coins for NHS staff visiting, We Proudly Serve Starbucks® locations in hospitals (while stocks last).
- Baked Treats, including chocolate-covered pretzels and vegan brownies, will be delivered to participating hospitals.
- Ambulance Stations Included: For the first time, 10 ambulance service stations will also receive product deliveries to include emergency service staff in the celebrations.
Participating Locations
Starbucks is delivering festive goodies to several hospitals and ambulance service stations across the UK. NHS workers can also claim their free drink in participating Starbucks stores, or We Proudly Serve Starbucks® locations in hospitals.
How to Claim Your Free Drink
- Make sure you have your official NHS ID card with you (Blue Light Cards won’t be accepted for this offer).
- Visit any participating Starbucks location on Thursday, December 5th, 2024.
- Choose any tall-sized hot or iced drink, and let the barista know you’re claiming the NHS offer.

Starbucks’ Continued Support for the NHS
Since 2019, Starbucks has been offering NHS giveaways as part of their commitment to supporting healthcare workers.
